THINK LIKE AN ARTIST – Making the Transition from Traditional to Art Quilting  This class covers the technical expertise of stitching including applique, quilting, blocking and binding. It takes the student to the other side … the ART part. How to develop risk taking and imagination along with the tools of the trade -- the formal elements such as color, line, shape, space and scale. Develop personal means of expression. Numerous exercises and embellishment demonstrations. How to avoid the dreaded word DERIVATIVE and finally, how do you know when it’s finished?

Machine. All Levels.
