BETHANY REYNOLDS -------- Ellsworth, Maine

Bethany Reynolds has been quilting and teaching since 1982. The originator of Stack-n-Whack® has a knack for finding ways to get great results with less work, and loves sharing her tricks. Quilters across the United States and abroad have enjoyed her relaxed but very productive workshops. She has taught at major shows, including the American Quilter's Society show and International Quilt Festival, and has been a guest on several television quilting programs, including Simply Quilts.

STACK-N-WHACK® DESIGN AND TECHNIQUE A comprehensive course for intermediate and advanced quilters who would like to incorporate kaleidoscope effects into their own designs. Begin by making a small quilt to learn or review the basics of the Stack-n-Whack® method. An overview will include techniques for working with special fabrics, such as symmetrical prints and novelties. Then the class will move on to individual projects. Bethany will guide students through the design process, including determining yardage and cutting requirements, selecting appropriate fabrics, designing borders, and approaches to the quilting design.

Machine. Intermediate-Advanced. $2 material fee payable in class.
